If this is your first time on our website - welcome! Whether you know alot about the SCA or re-enacting; or nothing at all, then this page will help you navigate your way through those first days, weeks and months as you become familiar with the game we like to call the SCA.
On this page you will find resources from local folk, other SCA players in Australia and New Zealand (Lochac), and all over the world. Some sites will also be from other re-enactment groups whose information is relevant to what we do in the SCA. The links will have information pertaining to getting started in the SCA, projects people are working on and so forth.
Info for Newbies
There are four ways to find out what is happening within Mordenvale: this website, from chatting with everyone at Sunday Gathering (see calender), Oxington Chase and Mordenvale page on Facebook and the email list. To join the emailing list please click this link: "Mords List".
It is also worthwhile taking a look at our "mother" site: http://lochac.sca.org . This site has all of the information about the SCA's logistics, rules, etc...and you can see who the current King and Queen are and find out all about them!

Camping
There are two main camping events that Mordenvale attend each year on masse. They are Rowany Festival at Easter time, and Spring War on the October long weekend.
